Quiet has always been my comfort zone. Books, two cats, a husband who works long hours at a hospital, and a small balcony in Chembur where I drink tea every morning. I am 32, married six years, and I do this two evenings a week - more than that and the guilt I do not feel becomes something I have to think about.
If you are loud, drunk, or in a hurry, we will not get along. The men I see usually book me for hotel evenings that begin around eight, end around eleven, and involve a long meal where neither of us pretends to be someone we are not. I prefer Lower Parel and BKC hotels; the elevators are quiet and the staff do not stare.
I am one of the calmer profiles in the Mumbai housewife companion listings here. Two-hour minimum, advance booking preferred, no last-minute calls after 9 pm because by then I am already in pyjamas. Be kind, be on time, and we will both have a good evening.
