I fly the Mumbai-Delhi-Bangalore triangle four days a week, the Mumbai-Dubai route once a fortnight, and the rest of my time is for myself. Twenty-six, four and a half years on cabin-crew uniform, fluent in two languages and tired in three more. The flying schedule made it impossible for me to ever date a real person; this is one of the ways I solved that.
My availability is irregular by design - blocks of two or three nights when I am off, then five-six days I am gone. I prefer business travellers because we both understand a layover. Hotel bookings only, mostly Andheri and BKC because they are closer to the airport and I get poor sleep otherwise. Two- to three-hour evenings, never overnights on a first meeting.
